Is your Z parked outside at your place or in a garage? If outside, you may want to keep it at a friend's house or somewhere else for a while if it's not your primary vehicle.
Make the car as hard to take as possible by pulling ignition relays under the hood, etc. Even if you have a garage, you still need to make it harder/less tempting to steal because anything can be taken by a desperate enough crook. you might want to put up some motion lights or even one of those cheap wireless cameras if you can swing it.
